David Buchanan (fl. 1877–1901)

Glasgow sculptor, thought to have worked for the monumental masons Scott & Rae. His only recorded works are his statue of Rose Bradwardine on the Scott Monument, a bronze portrait roundel on the grave of James Allan in Cadder Cemetery near Kirkintilloch, the monument to James Clark MacKirdy in the Necropolis, Glasgow, and a marble bust of the gutta percha merchant James Dick in Rutherglen Museum.
