In 1869 they completed Holy Trinity Church, Chester, which had been begun by Harrison, and they rebuilt St Bridget’s Church, West Kirby, in 1869–70. In 1867 they designed the Monument to Bishop Graham, comprising a recumbent effigy within a Gothic architectural surround, in Chester Cathedral. Edwards’ design for a commercial art gallery at 55 Bridge Street, Chester (1889), includes a niche containing a painted wood statue of King Charles I above eight reliefs of Biblical scenes.
