Teacher and artist. He attended the National Art Training School, South Kensington, and also gained a building qualification. He was head art master at Brighton School of Art, 1871–92, and acted as adviser for the new School of Science and Art building at Grand Parade in 1875–76. He also provided designs for two terracotta reliefs representing the Arts and the Sciences on, respectively, the building’s northern and southern wings (now inside the south entrance of the University of Brighton building, Grand Parade), which were made in the nearby Ditchling Potteries by Messrs Johnson. Fisher also contributed to the science curriculum with a series of lectures on mathematics.
