Swedish artist, born in Kristinehamn, she was trained at Tollare Art School, Stockholm (1972–74), and later studied drama at Uppsala University. In 1980 she moved to Scotland, studying first at Leith School of Art (1989–90), then at Edinburgh College of Art, where she was awarded a BA (Hons) in Painting and Drawing (1993) and a Masters in Fine Art (1995). She works with mixed media, creating site-specific installations that frequently incorporate textual or sonic components. Her work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions throughout Scotland and Sweden, and her commissioned works include the external glass wall Watching the Shadows Move, at Loudon Hall, Ayr (1997), and La Plancha, a glass screen for the Reading Room in the Jersey Archive, St Helier, Jersey (2000).
